liah was living with her father, when hades found out the child was not his. He killed her father in fury. she was 5 when this happened and was taken into a foster home. she then lived with marta and bob ( her foster parents). they were kind but strict so she ran away to camp half blood. she knew where it was because her mother left her with a map.
